“I wish I was in Carrickfergus...” or so go the lyrics of one of Ireland’s most iconic traditional songs.
Our family run Dobbin’s Hotel is located in the heart of picturesque Carrickfergus, the gateway to Belfast and the North East Irish coast, offering tastefully decorated rooms, warm bar, a ghost (apparently), quality Irish cuisine and most importantly a traditional Irish welcome.
With a central location (including ample street parking) there is much to see and do on the hotel doorstep. The Castle and St Nicholas Church are within a five minute stroll. Golfing and angling, popular activities in the borough can be arranged at various locations by enquiring at the reception.
The town, made famous for offering a superb coastline setting along Belfast Lough with views to Bangor, is just 20 minutes drive from Belfast City.
